Krystyna Pyszková, hailing from the Czech Republic, was crowned Miss World at a splendid event held in India yesterday night. The competition, which featured 112 contestants, took place in Mumbai, India’s financial and entertainment hub.

Pyszková expressed her profound gratitude, stating, “Being crowned Miss World is a dream come true. I am deeply honored to represent my country and the values of ‘beauty with a purpose’ on a global platform.”

During the crowning ceremony, Pyszková graciously received the crown from the outgoing Miss World, Karoline Bielawska of Poland, and greeted the enthusiastic audience at the Jio World Convention Center, where she embraced fellow contestants.

The event served as a vibrant showcase of India’s cultural richness, traditions, heritage, arts, crafts, and textiles to a vast global audience. Participants adorned themselves in intricately embroidered skirts and blouses, dancing to popular Bollywood tunes.

This edition of the beauty competition marked a significant return to India after a hiatus of 28 years.
