Synopsis of documentaries
“Garment of piety”, a documentary sheds light on the historical tradition and the spiritual meaning of the Clothes for clerics and religious scholars in the monotheistic religions and highlights the diversity of its forms; colors and distinctiveness between sects.
This attempt aims to highlight the traditions and the influence of historical epochs on the evolution of clothing. As well as, the documentary sheds light on the spiritual side of the clothes which is unique in religions, and shows the religious clothing industry and its characteristics.
“A Gift of Life”; a documentary about personal storytelling to highlight the importance of organ donation which provides patients in need an opportunity of a new life.
The Film shows the sufferings of two cases, each of a different health condition; and shows various stages of difficulties and the harsh waiting for a donation to occur.
In an advanced stage; the film takes you deeper into the operation rooms, and follows the process of organ transplant. Furthermore, it sheds light on recuperation’s phase towards a new chance.
“The Emperors of Water Tanks” , a documentary focuses on the reality of waters in Lebanon, that country, which citizens are bowing under the yoke of a long history of rationing and draught. Its starts as of the human side to reach an approach political, economical and sociological dimensions, in a template wherein the movie wears the investigation aspect. The movie relates the daily life of water tank drivers, whereas to the manner of the crisis management and filling water sources.
The movie compares between Lebanon’s fortune of waters, as the third Arabic country, and the contradiction factor, in order to shift, afterwards, to the negligence of the State.
“Women fighters for peace “,a documentary that tells the stories of Four Lebanese women who carried their guns and fought in the fierce battles of the Lebanese war. These Women have long believed that war is a winning game and they will sweep the world through their efforts.
But, the results have written a different history, and their hopes have been shattered.
As a result, they have turned their lives upside down and become women fighters for peace.

“spirit of times “ a documentary (30 minutes) sheds light on ‘miniature’s art which reflected the most beautiful Arab and Near Eastern arts. The miniatures showed lifestyles, garments, cultures and events. As well, Prose, poetry and calligraphy appeared in the drawings.
A mixture of stories take viewers into the privacy of those eras.
‘Lady of Music is a 30-minute documentary that highlights the journey of four Arab female orchestra leaders from Lebanon, Egypt, and Tunisia, who formed a turning point in our Arab musical heritage.

“The eagle of phoenix”, a documentary of two parts (56 minutes approximately; each), featuring biography and achievements of Lebanese and Arab poet “Said Akl”.The documentary deals with the life story of the poet, focuses on his entire life: beginnings, literary figure, culture, philosophy and achievements. It also focuses on his attachment to Lebanon his homeland, and the country of Phoenician civilization. He emphasized on the Phoenician legacy of the Lebanese people and promoted the use of Lebanese dialect written in a modified Latin alphabet, which had been influenced by Phoenician’s alphabet. Moreover, he believes that it would be used by all languages around the world. It should be noted that the linguistics’ universities began teaching this alphabet across the world, such as Sweden and some universities of United States.
The documentary presents 16 testimonials that talk about personal life, human side; achievements and creativity of this poet. We have chosen 16 interviewers among specialists in literature, professors, Poet’s friends and relatives who are close to Said Akl.
The documentary presents a historical and analytical hierarchy with adequate details of family life in Lebanon, and highlights “the women in his life”, love and marriage as well as, the human side.
In addition, the documentary sheds light on the poet’s best initiative prize. He sets up in his name an important prize “Said Akl’s Prize” which targets the outstanding talents; this prize became a dream for most distinguished people in the Arab World.
The documentary has been implemented professionally as a Docudrama with narrations. The Documentary was filmed on a Canon 5D-Luma in Full HD. Editing was Executed on Final Cut Pro.
Locations featured in this documentary include: Zahle (hometown), and many different locations in Beirut and other areas around.

”The blue horizon”, a documentary about “Autism” (52 minutes) featuring real cases of autistic people, experiences of parents and situations. It covers the importance of training programs: social integration, educational integration, professional integration, self-reliance program with top specialists and doctors, and that aside to role of affiliations.
The documentary sheds light on the latest international study released by Dr. Henry Markram called “blue brain project” based on interaction of brain cells, in order to find a cure for the most diseases related to brain disorders, including autism, and this innovation promises a great hope for humanity.
